An old Leftist at my gym who is dismayed by his friends' acceptance of this
"live by government" plan shared with me something they used to say when he
was a young radical-  "A government big enough to give you everything you
want is a government big enough to take away everything you have." Do I
trust government? No, and neither should you. And before someone whines
about me being OK with Bush sending the military overseas- that's overseas!
