I'm trying to figure out what to have post work-out and when. I've heard how
good caffeine is pre-workout as well. I know, although it used to be seen as
good to do, that I can't workout on an empty stomach. 1) I don't think it's
very healthy. 2) I have no energy.

The energy thing gets me every time. :)

During workouts I drink water.

And by all means, talk away. How else can we learn anything unless we're
mentally challenged?
