The Supreme Court has not ruled on Waterboarding, Rendition or Wiretapping. "People" were prosecuted for Abu Ghraib. The right people? I am suspicious.
You are right, some knowledge of these things is public. Full details are not. No proper investigation was ever done. I don't know if anyone should go to jail for them or not. What I am pretty confident of, as the IG's report has made clear, is that the Justice Department had no interest what so ever in following up on any of the issues mentioned. I'm sure that there are others which have not yet come to light. I'm sure you'll continue to call it a partisan witch hunt. That's fine. There were many actions taken "in defense of liberty" by the previous administration. As with any employee of mine, I'd rather like to know the full extent of the actions taken in my name. You are free to continue your quest for ignorance in the matters. Judah On Tue, Jan 20, 2009 at 12:07 PM, Robert Munn <[email protected]> wrote: > People were prosecuted and jailed for Abu Ghraib.
