that's not a war crime. The Geneva Conventions allow such to happen. Once a civilian facility is used for any military purpose it is a legitimate target. Even if there were 10,000 civilians in it at the time, as soon as one Hamas gunman fires one shot, that hospital becomes a legit target. Hamas then becomes guilty of a war crime for deliberately using hospitals and schools with civilians in them as cover. That said there are several cases where IDF forces shot and threw grenades into rooms full of civilians when there were no Hamas gunmen nearby, nor were those buildings being used by Hamas.
