He never promised in his campaign that he would be a perfect president. He promised that he would set the bar high, and strive to reach that...knowing full well that he'd fall short at times. And when he did, he promised to own up to it.
It's early, but so far, that's EXACTLY what he's done. I think it's great. (But still....geeesh....let's get an honest tax payer on the cabinet...come on Barry!)
