Lots of people are beaten or killed for being gay by their christian neighbors and friends and family. Doctors who performed abortions have been killed for their "sins". Plenty of people in this country were killed for the biblical crime of miscegenation.
What about all the parents that have taken out their spouses and children because the world is too sinful and they just couldn't take it anymore? I just don't see how you can argue that there isn't substantial christian religious view point sourced violence in the United States.
