We had some all female dorms at college when I went. In order for a guy to
go in, he had to have a female escort (no not that kind of escort) that
lived in the building. If it was after a certain hour, he couldn't go in at
all. Some dorms were coed .. others coed by floor or wing. Males and
females couldn't be in each other's rooms after certain hours though. We
had the hall patrol people too. This was way back in '92 =-p

Funny side story. Most of the dorms are suits .. 2 rooms of 2 roomates that
share a joined bathroom. When I showed up to move in and got my room
assignment, I realized they had paird me and my roomate with one of my
friends from high school and HER roomate. oopsie! Like I said, she and I
were friends, so we didn't care, but the school corrected their error in
short order anyway. oh well.
