Our school had single sex dorms as well, along with visiting hours. What was odd was that the women's dorms had shorted visiting hours. I guess they figured it was safer for a woman in the man's dorm. (boggle). When the administration was asked why the women had shorter visiting hours, the official quote was:
"Because they're women." My school was also the school that fired the yearbook editor because of _slightly_ risqu pictures. (One of the stories dealt with sex. There was a nude couple, but the picture was pretty fuzzy so it was _nothing_ like a porn shot.) Anyway - so they fired the editor - and this was after the yearbook won a national award when compared to other college campus yearbooks. -rc > -----Original Message----- > From: Todd [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, April 18, 2002 2:42 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: College evil > > > We had some all female dorms at college when I went.
