Of course there is. More house, more tax. More gas, more tax. More driving, more tax. The concept is that you're taxed on "utility"; in other words the more you use stuff the more you pay in taxes. In MN, when I bought my S4 I paid more sales tax, a fed gas guzzler tax, more licensing fees, and more gas tax due to V8 that got 12mpg in the city. That's "tiered" tax up the wazoo. If you make more income, it's the same concept: you're getting more utility out of the country's infrastructure as measured by your wealth. So you pay more tax. Same concept. I'm someone who happens to think that paying taxes is patriotic, it's just that the people that administer it may not be. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:290528 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
