"The Irish" are a problem in Boston, and around Quincy. Fraud, welfare, section 8 housing money, petty crime, brutal organized crime.
My favorite story about the Irish in Quincy. My apartment has a _lot_ of immigrants. Some planning to stay, and some just making some money to then return home. Pakistan, China, India, Morocco, Russia, and Ireland. Everyone speaks English, but everyone asks me what the Irish families are saying, since no one else can understand their English. And in honor of St Patrick's Day, my closest Irish roots are my GGGmother Rose (Graham) Finley, who came from Ireland to Colorado in 1879.
