What's ironic is that you've spent the last decade supporting the
policies of a guy who's brought the country to the brink of collapse
and now you're whining about budgets. It's almost like you're
shameless.

You didn't give 2 sh*ts about mortgaging anybody's anything for Iraq
or whatever else over the last decade.

It's funny how you think you have principles now.

Dude, come on, your "principles" vary with occupant of the Whitehouse.
 Stop lying to yourself.

But that having been said, let's quickly reveal why what you're saying
is both unrealistic and ignorant:

(1.) Hey remember the economic crisis we're in? If this country -
forget our opinions - was willing to "dismantle the welfare state" we
would've let everything collapse. That's what freedom means. But we
didn't. Why? Because 99.9% of people in this country are willing to
trade freedom for consistency and predictability. Including you, btw.
You were the first to say "government intervention!" So you don't
support your own policy suggestions.

Think for 2 micro-seconds: there are people right now that can't
retire now AND they get social security. Think if they'd been allowed
to put that money into the market. We'd be approaching mass old
people poverty. Which I guess is easy to favor when you have rich
parents.

And, frankly, you personally are not smart enough or talented enough
to deal with the freedom you suggest and you're probably in the top
10% of Americans. There's not enough time in the day for you to comb
through all the bureaucracy to deal with your freedom. So the market
has failed there. The only question is whether we tolerate it or not.
You say "yes", but yours is an ignorant yes as I've just revealed for
you.

(2.) Cost projections are based on changing nothing and I can tell you
from experience that's not going to be the case. O is dumping $20
billion into health care IT. This is simply a business problem.
