I hate bellsouth because they are assholes ;) even though their service
is great 99.9% of the time, their Customer Support is crappy and they
are so damn stupid you have to KNOW they are going to make a mistake
whenever you talk to them no matter what its about ;) I think ive had
only 1 time I talked to BS (Bellsouth, yes its also BS for a reason :) )
without them screwing something up.

I recently changed phone #'s cause someone was harassing my house :) my
2 phone lines got changed and 1 of my 2 dsl lines got changed. BUT
somehow the other dsl line DISAPPEARED, no record no nothing ;) I called
bellsouth and they said oHh you should have called bellsouth fast access
to tell them to change the lines.
Which was hilarious to me because they are the same people if
"DIFFERENT" companies, lordy.

Then I moved to a new house they managed to screw it up again AHh but
good old BS.

And then AT&T they are a bunch of bozos too lol, I was going to get
Digital cable when I first moved in they told me they have it, they sent
out the techs.

after 3 hours debugging they goto my tv box and go WOW this block is the
only block in a 3 mile area without digital lines run. DUH!!! No wonder
my cable modem wasn't working you nitwits ;)

Much less the stuff starband was selling really had very poor QA on the
products 25%-50% defect rate the first 6 months. I hear its down now but
oh well.

I've decided they are all terrible and I think I'll go into business
providing T1's to people for the cost of dsl :) Its bound to make
millions let me get the people from enron on the phone to work through
the nitty gritty

Lol ;)

IF anyone has had similar experiences with the evil corporate broadband
providers feel free to share

I'd feel bad - been there, done that.

Matter of fact, I did have a loose Internet connection.

But the AT&T cable guy replaced a section of coax and
put a new tight connector on the cable, then it worked
blazingly fast again.

I'd also feel bad if I were to lose my Internet
connection.
