That's because those people, like you, don't know what they're talking about.

Doctors raise costs. Labs raise costs. Pharma raises costs. Patients
raise costs. Those are the cost drivers.

What you don't understand is that both the government AND private
insurance simple REACT. They don't drive. When you crash your car
your rates go up. Action-reaction. When you file a home owners claim
your rates go up. Reaction. When doctors raise rates insurance (gov
or priv) must react. When patient rates of diabetes rise, insurance
must react. And you don't get that.

So you fail before you've even left the gate.

What you do get right (but you don't know it and don't understand it)
is that the problem with healthcare is market failure, and market
failure can only be fixed the market rule makers: government.

This is the reason anyone who truly understands these things, like
Obama, has already eliminated single payer as an option.

Thus the question is NOT who is going to fix the problem; ONLY - only
- government can. Why?

They are the only institution able to re-make the market rules.

You think all doctors are willing to work for a smile? Well, we're
going to find out.

Ok, you're going to find out. Many of us already know.
