I don't know how much her aunt paid for the original dogs, but I know  
she's been selling the pups for ~$500.

While researching the "breed", I came across the AKC page about the  
myth of the "imperial" type.  It's just one more reason for me to be  
leary of it.  I don't want to get a dog that will have more health  
problems than the norm.

btw, I always think of rats as the NYC sewer type.....unless I've  
recently watched the Rats of Nimh.
