Some of us don't participate in off-topic discussions on the CF-Jobs list. Talk like this could narrow the chance's of gaining employment through the channels setup for us. The ones involved should be reprimanded not the ones who use the list for it's intentions. Should we post our availability to the other list? Wouldn't we be off topic?

I would not hire people that act like that. Makes for a bad work environment. That is why I don't use it. Anyway, there is a lot of cross-talk on the list and Mr. Dinowitz created a list of chatting about cf jobs, the thing is, some of the talk just really seems totally off-base, critical comments about another person's resume seems insulting to me. I sent a message to the list last week asking people not to post the stuff...you should have seen some of the flames I got :) Yet the chatter continues... Am I being a bit too anal about this? I don't mind a little flamewar now and then, but cf-jobs just seems to be the last place for one. I can imagine what an unsuspecting HR person, or recruiter thinks when they see this stuff. jon ______________________________________________________________________ Your ad could be here.
