No - actually more like we aren't in debt at all. As I said in my email I wasn't aware of any debt, and I investigated a little further and it looks like there isn't any debt. The games in Atlanta broke even. http://tinyurl.com/yjpr3t8 In exchange, we got some great sports venues, including Turner Field where the Braves still play, massively improved freeway infrastructure, the village complex became dormitories for Georgia State University and Georgia Tech (which sorely needed it). We also got Centennial Olympic Park which still is a centerpiece in downtown Atlanta and the center of massive redevelopment since then. I also remember that Atlanta was among the first cities to receive digital cell phone service in 1996 to correspond with the games. Not that I care about that anymore, but at the time it was kinda neat. I dunno - I think we made out pretty good. And I dunno if you have ever lived in a city during the Olympic Games, but it's definitely an experience of a lifetime . -Cameron ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
