Cool, here's another:

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-olympics-atlanta-21-sep21,0,2542212.story

It's got popups and crap. bleh. Title is: "Olympics' impact on
Atlanta still subject to debate".

Tho it doesn't seem like it's subject to much debate. I few local
retailers sued after going bankrupt due to the fees for selling their
wares on the street. A few people wanted "more".

Seems to me Atlanta got a pretty sweet deal out of it.

But my point was, while you weren't aware of any debt, you felt if
there were, it was worth it. It seemed. Maybe I misinterpreted.

I feel the same way about some things.

I wonder, who pays for this stuff?

Seems like in 1996 the "host country" (taxes?) paid for about a 3rd of
the stuff, along with sponsors and donations (besides 1.5 Mil Atlanta
paid for some celebrations?)... 1.8Bil total. not a bad deal.

Next games should be in 'Burque. No-- Santa Fe-- I actually kinda
like 'burque how it is. A lovely mix of backwards and forwards. Heh.

Not lived. Was visiting Los Angeles for one. Crazyness. Fun time by
all. Boycotted by Russia and whatnot, but most profitable one ever,
it seems.

Disneyland rocked.
