All too true. Alexis is going on her first field trip today with her pre-K class. I cleaned out her lunchbox (an old 2000 DevCon box) and took out so much - various toys, a flashlight etc. When it comes to kids that age, you're lucky if you can do a last minute check of the gear they're carrying.
