I think Jesus had some things to say about dogma (I say think, because I'm still in the old testament (again)). Seriously tho, there's some story Ben Franklin (IIRC) had about his favorite church group thing-- they never had him print up any dogma, because they said they were scared of having dogma. Or something like that. It was a very "alive" group, basically. I mean, we can get all wrapped up in The Law, or we can focus on The Message -- love thy neighbor, and maybe blessed are the meek, etc.. Golden Rule, baby, Golden Rule (approximately 1.6180339887-- er, wait, that's the golden mean, NM). I think Jesus would have loved the gays, they're such a fantastic bunch. But I don't "know" Jesus (in the biblical sense). =) Thanks for honestly sharing, and being open-- not just you, Hatton, but MaryJo and Maureen too.
