No, but if you want to produce a product that folks can use, then it
means you use gasoline. Good luck selling a solar powered car. I'm not
saying it couldn't be better, but at a practical level, you have to
admit that if a customer asks for a car, you better provide a gas one.

Sure - because not every app needs a relational database. I think it
would be foolish to assume so - just as it is foolish to assume
objects should be used everywhere
