Tho actually -- they *are* a special case in American immigration law
though, come to think of it, and have their own visa category (I). The same
was true in France. Not sure about Canada, since I have never lived that
one, but.... two days? That sounds like special treatment to me, and not in
a good way. I've transported two American citizens over that border many
times and never had any limitations put on their stay.
