I'll bet $500. Although given your time frame I'll want interest on
the amount as well.

Just for a thought experiment, get NOAA's temperature recordings in
the US for the last 140 years  - 1860 on. Now do a moving average
analysis. You'll see there is a steady upwards trend since the
recordings were first kept. Now look at the measurements over the last
50 years. You'll see that the temperature increase is statistically
significant. now plot that 140 year curve against the output of
greenhouse gasses for the same time period. Guess what there is very
little difference between the two curves. To me that strongly supports
the current climate change hypotheses.

Moreover when reputable scientific organizations like NOAA,and the
IOS all support the global climate change theory, that seals it for
me.

given teh weight of scientific opinion vs a few crank climate deniers,
I'll go with the scientific consensus.
