There are times that I think we _must_ attempt to impose our values on
others.

Where that line exists becomes the argument.

There are things we dislike but cannot fix, there are things we don't follow
our own principles on. but there are things that cannot be let stand.

It was fine in Germany to kills Jews. Was that OK? Muslims in Croatia?
Tutsis in Rowanda?

How about medical experimentation in Germany? and in Iraq?

There are other things we don't like, but are grey enough to have us not
impose our values THERE, but insist they follow ours HERE. And, although
things people did might have been legal THERE, I think there are things that
should disqualify you from ever entering the US.

There are some absolutes. And there are some absolutes we cannot affect. But
those absolutes we CAN affect, in some cases we should and must.
