The examples you're citing don't demonstrate true cultural values.  The
Nazis were an aberration for a society where killing Jews was not the norm
before a certain someone worked up a national frenzy on the matter.  That
particular group was attempting to impose itself on everyone else which is a
very extreme action.  In those extreme cases then, yes, some extreme action
may be needed.  Taking that down to the individual level, I believe murder
is wrong, but if you break into my house in the middle of the night and try
to hurt me, I will try to kill you (self defense is not murder).  What the
Allies did in World War 2 was essentially protect the world from a rouge
culture that wanted to wipe out all other cultures.

Having said that, Godwin's Law has been realized so we should probably wrap
this thread up. :)
