One other note here - if you have an Apple Store anywhere near you, it would be very easy to bring those questions in and someone there is virtually certain to know the answer, plus some. Apple Store employees tend to be extremely knowledgeable and very eager to give you that knowledge. Just go on a day that's not busy (weekday). I walked into the Apple Store in Atlanta about a month ago when I first started considering this and the guy I spoke to talked to me for about an hour. No pressure to buy, he was just jazzed when I said I was considering switching from PC to Mac.
