Yes, I definitely intend on selecting the best VM engine.  I know alot
of people have suggested I *not* use parallels.

I'm actually considering getting a solid state drive in it too, which
should speedup alot of things quite a bit.  I am frequently starting
up and shutting down various instances of CF and Eclipse workspaces on
my laptop for different client work so the time it takes to switch my
environment around should go down considerably.
