Keeping the doors open on several agencies and making sure out of work
families can put food on the table and pay rent? Uh, yeah, that is an
emergency. The normal order of business in the Senate has been
hijacked by Republicans who are putting forth every delay tactic they
can on every order of business that comes up. If they would grow the
fuck up and try and actually legislate, we could pass reform bills to
reform health care, spur further job creation, reduce the deficit and
get a real budget in place that conforms to pay as you go rules.
