The problem with common sense and common courtesy is that they are not
all that common.

We do not have a right to NOT be offended. Something I scream at the
left as much as I scream at the right.

Westboro church has a right to scream whatever they want, whenever
they want, as long as it falls within the guidelines of free speech -
which to the best of my knowledge it has. I know that some cities and
states have taken steps to limit their effect by passing laws that
limit how close a protest can get to a funeral or cemetery.

I loathe what they are saying, but the fact that they can say what
they do is the best testament to freedom I can think of. Does it suck
for the families? Hell yea. But if we limit Westboros' speech, we
throw ourselves down a very steep, ice covered slope.
