You cannot be arrested for violating precedent.  You can be held in
contempt, but not arrested and charged with a crime.

What my point is that precedence has the same weight as codified law...to
use your example, Roe V. Wade...  Any codified laws cannot violate that
decision...unless the courts decide that Roe is no longer valid...just like
if they decide that DOMA isn't valid, it can also be overturned.

No it doesn't.  The legislature makes a bill ad the executive makes it a
law.

The judicial only makes precedent.
