I think that's how it should be.  Parties should be allowed, but people
should have to run as individuals, and be able to articulate their own
positions and plank, without the aid of staff or a telepromter.

That's a good idea, but keep in mind just about ALL political parties start
out with this ideal. Once you start bringing in more and more
people...purity of ideas kind of goes out the window.

That's why I like the independent label. I don't have to answer for anyone
else's stupid ideas, even others who declare themselves
independents...because we don't pretend to share a certain platform. We are
just that...independent.
