I haven't even considered a windows mobile device in a long, long time.  It's 
also one of the reasons why I'm not really excited about the HP slate either.  
MS tries to be everything to everyone and doesn't get a lot of it right.  I 
have a tablet pc that runs winxp....actually, my mother-in-law uses it.  She's 
never really used the tablet side of things.  To her, the tablet interface 
never felt right even though she hates typing.  Even to me, beyond to "cool I 
can write on this" factor, the tablet interface was never integrated correctly 
and ended up taking more time than just using the keyboard.

I have no reason to think MS has customized Win 7 to work any better with a 
table than they did with WinXP.
