You shouldn't lose your stuff, but you might want to follow up with them My Account was hacked about two months ago, and I hadn't played in about a month at the time. When I did get back in, after changing my passwords and waiting the time specified by Blizzard, all my stuff was there, as well as about 12 other characters I didn't create.
Since I have no idea how my account was hacked (although I possibly think it was through a guild) can't say what else to do (It just so happens that I had formatted and installed the full version of Windows 7 between the last time playing and the message re: my account :) ) Cheers, Rob On Mon, Apr 19, 2010 at 12:04 PM, Matthew Smith <[email protected]>wrote: > > So I got an email from Blizzard that my account was banned for spamming. > I've been too busy to play this week and haven't logged in for a while. > This sucks. > > Will I lose my character or items? > > A couple of other things going on that make me question my computer > security at this point. > > A week ago I opened tomshardware.com in my browser and it was logged in as > a hotmail account I've never seen.
