Two disclaimers that i beg you not to ignore when you start flipping out on me:
1) I don't give a shit about abortion....i really don't. Keep it legal, don't keep it legal....doesn't matter to me. 2) i'm not naive enough to think that the legislators in this case give two shits about patient's knowledge of procedures...they just want to guilt them out of abortions. I know that. But an abortion IS a medical procedure. Any and all patients should know EXACTLY what is about to happen during ANY operation. I know that I demanded this before all of my operations. Do I think it's necessary to point out organs or any of that crap, NO...but a detailed description of what the doctor is about to do....can only be a GOOD thing. As a patient choosing an elective surgery, you should have ALL the facts....including what is about to get removed, and how.
