I have no problem with them saying a personal prayer...they can do that
before they leave for work or when they park their car before they go into
their offices.  Just not on my dime...

You make a good point. I admit I've never thought of it quite that way. 

On the other hand our leaders should be able to at least say a personal
prayer whether they're in session or not. Maybe said prayers should be
silent, but they should definately be allowed. Just because they're in
leadership positions doesn't rob them of their right to practice their
religion.
