We took the kids to Statue of Liberty this past Monday. I would recommend that to anyone visiting NYC who has not seen it yet.
Also, if you are a baseball fan, both the Yankees & Mets play in brand new stadiums and would likely be a good stop even if you are not fans of those teams. When I travel during baseball season, I always try to take in a game. Last year I was at Dodgers Stadium when the Dodgers clinched their division. That was kind of cool.
