OK as part of what I did with the Canadian Armed Forces, I had the
opportunity to fire both the Browning 9mm HiPower and the m1911
pistols. My own preference is the Browning 9mm. I found it far more
controllable than the m1911. I think that in those situations where I
had trained for, the Browning was a far more capable weapon. I think I
would have been more likely to walk out of the situation with the
Browning than the .45cal pistol.
