I truly believe, with the upswing in interest from the World Cup, and the
ennui the American public is feeling about basketball (James), and football
(the years of arrests), and baseball (no one watched the all start game),
the timing is right for someone of his stature to take soccer to the next
level here in the US.

He is heading to a huge market. He is a huge star. He is attractive and well
spoken. And he is _great_.

I expect by mid-summer to start seeing soccer games on normal tv (at least
ESPN), rather than ESPN 3 at 4:00am.

We will see if I am wrong, but I have a feeling....

And if he can, and plays up to his potential, I think he changes his legacy
to the stature of Pele. Or Magic Johnson.
