We'll have to come together as a people to do that, I fear.

*We are the politicians*

The animal in us will do it for the old, "enemy of my enemy" type
reasons (revolution-- "both" sides get together and say the third side
(the system we created) is the Enemy, and come together to fight it),
but it would be nice if the higher-order parts of us, our minds, could
figure out that working together-- compromise-- is a better answer.

Course, what do you compromise on? One "side" thinks chicks marrying
chicks is something we need a constitutional amendment to prevent.

How do you compromise with that?

Educate the kids, and wait?
