"correlation != causation."

I know Larry. I have a master degree in math. I have taken many statistics
classes. That's why I didn't say the correlation was causal. Just that it
exists.

If enough circumstantial evidence exists, we know where to start looking for
the cause. The starting place may not lead to the cause. Some people call
this inductive reasoning.

"As for it just seems to happen under Communism/Socialism. Real cute, your
making the implication that Socialism is responsible for Communist
atrocities."

I am not implying it. I stated it. Mass atrocities happen more often under
communist/socialist regimes than any other.

"If anything there have been fewer incidents with Socialism than most other
political philosophies. For instance, how many Norwegian, Danish or Swedish
atrocities have occurred in the past? Or for that matter how many Canadian
ones? All these countries you would consider socialist."

Larry, I just pointed out that the mass atrocities seem to happen under your
favorite form of government more than others. Now it seems that I touched a
nerve because you jumped to the conclusion that I said all
socialist/communist governments. I didn't.

"Now compare that to the so called Capitalist nations (e.g., Britian,
Belgium - think of the Congo, United States, to name 3)."

I also said that atrocities have been committed by all types of
governments. Read about how Britain quelled rebellion in India. It just
seems that the scale is so much larger in your Utopian governments.

"As for greed and self-interest, it would seem that they want to reel it in
and put it back where they think it belongs, corporate America."

That's right Larry. No other country has greed. That's why the people's
paradise of North Korea is such a success. Those citizens bust their asses
so they can grow food to share with their neighbors.
