Castration, both the physical kind and the medication kind, both seem to help lessen the drive for sexual predators to act on their impulses. It doesn't "cure" a sexual preference - it appears that whatever turns you on turns you on forever, but makes the drive less so that its manageable. I think its a perfectly fair sentence for a repeat sexual predator. Your sexual drive is inappropriate and involves non-consensual partners and you can't control it?
