Just for clarification, there's a lot more to the idea of not talking unless your lawyer is present than "there are bad cops who want to git ya!". I posted a link to the videos a while back, which explain in detail, but the basic point wasn't about "bad" cops, it was about "the system". Or the way it works. Even with the *best* of intentions, and *best* of cops, you shouldn't speak without a lawyer present. Shit happens, basically. Evidence is lost, people misremember, what you say can be twisted (even if it's recorded audio or video). I should probably dig up that link again, because it was teh awesome, with a live demo and everything (the cop, who specialized in interrogation, was a friend of the professor). Yeah, that was a bad ass link. I wonder if I saved it somewhere. Sorta besides the point of the conversation, though. Yeah, this was it "Don't Talk to Cops, Part 1": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8z7NC5sgik Still didn't save it tho. Finding it was easy enough. ;) :Den -- There is no one, says another, whom fortune does not visit once in his life; but when she does not find him ready to receive her, she walks in at the door, and flies out at the window.
