I can't say I am against the death penalty in cases where we are SURE (100% positive) that the person accused did the crime. If a person is a serial killer for example, I don't really believe they are rehabilitatable. But I am against killing folks where there isn't defnitive evidence that they committed the crime. At this point I am unsure what the purpose of our prison system is. Is it to keep criminals from doing crimes? If so I suppose it does an admirable job. If the purpose is to rehabilitate criminals, I think it does a poor job. If the purpose is to punish criminals, I don't necesarily believe it does a good job of this either. ______________________________________________________________________ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists
