I can't say I am against the death penalty in cases where we are SURE (100%
positive) that the person accused did the crime.  If a person is a serial
killer for example, I don't really believe they are rehabilitatable.  But I
am against killing folks where there isn't defnitive evidence that they
committed the crime.

At this point I am unsure what the purpose of our prison system is.  Is it
to keep criminals from doing crimes?  If so I suppose it does an admirable
job.  If the purpose is to rehabilitate criminals, I think it does a poor
job.   If the purpose is to punish criminals, I don't necesarily believe it
does a good job of this either.
