Right at that big fountain in the middle, at dusk, they also had a parade,
marching bands, tiny fireworks, and skydivers and ultralight pilots winging
around and landing, in costume.

That was fun and unexpected.

If money is no object, with kids, I would recommend as vigorously as
possible staying at Ft Wilderness in one of the "cabins" (which are really
trailers, but nicely decorated and clean. And the "hoop-dee-doo musical
revue" was a ball. the cabin easily slept 6, but was very pricey (like
$250/night). and a quick boatride to all the parks. As a teen, we stayed at
the Polynesian Village, which was also very nice (although more luxurious)
