I suppose it depends on how you define "ride" in the sense of it being worth
it. Epcot has a number of things to do to keep you busy outside of food and
shopping. Universe of Energy, Test Track, the Mission to Mars thing, The
Seas, the boat tour at The Land pavilion, a ride within the World of
Imagination, not to mention the boat rides in Mexico and Norway pavilions,
and a number of shows and presentations all over the park. If you want
roller coasters, then no, Epcot isn't the place for you. If you're
interested in learning about science and culture, then Epcot is a wonderful
place to explore if it's given a fair chance.

There is certainly plenty of both, and if that's seen as the main reason to
go then I can see how the ticket price looks steep. If you include
everything else there is to do then the price makes more sense.
