Books convey emotion wonderfully. Far better than video, IMO.

I say the book is part of the meme because it's recent, and seems to
be pushing this recent thought pattern.

They have the money needed to play all sides well. The only side they
are on, is their own.

And they're like people now, where their money == free speech, thanks
to... um... well, I guess it's the Liberals who supported that? The
commies on the supreme court?

So we've been Fascist since the 80's? Seems like a weird definition
of Fascism, to me.

Where's the violence? Isn't that part of fascism?

I think there's a word that has "corp" in it, that comes closer to the mark.

Torture, habeas corpus, "first strike", phone taps, "my lawyer said I
could do it", etc.? Religious belief influencing policy? Religious
belief influencing scientific discovery?

Bush said the same-ish thing. And stuff actually came of it.
Remember how "good citizens" were seeing terrorists everywhere?

I don't see the sweeping change you do. But, as I, and other people
have said before, "I wouldn't be surprised". People were primed for
this crap by the last administration. "We need to be safe, more than
to be free."

They don't give the power back willingly.

But come on, remember water-boarding? We were there, dude, and the
people bitching about the loss of Real America didn't say squat, and
in fact, cheered on the pretty lame-ass,
destructive-to-american-spirit policies.

In the UK, they're having citizens watch the CCTV cams for suspicious
activity. Super-awesome idea, that.

Fear the next terrorist attack. But not because of the violence, but
rather, because of what we'll do to ourselves in the name of making us
safe.

Are you seriously saying we've got another Hitler Youth on our hands?
Or are close to something similar?

Meeeeeemmmmmeeeeee.  =)

I guess the militias teaming up with the Tea Party heads is sorta like
that. All anti-immigration and whathaveyou.

Mass insanity is freaking awesome to behold. This Socialist, Nazi,
and eugenic talk, is really out there-- I'm not saying it's not true,
but it is *way* out there... what do you think about remote viewing?

I'd sell you a widget, but Obama is in office.
Have a nice day and beware of socialism!

That still cracked me up. :)
