Don't be so quick to make assumptions about MS and competing web dev languages. I have no idea why, I really don't, but they've been pushing PHP really hard. You'll find lots of PHP examples on their website and PHP has been added to the CLR along with Iron Ruby and Iron Python.
Still, I can't imagine an MS/Adobe combination being anything other than a very slow behemoth. On the other hand, I've already switched to Railo for all my current CF work, so it isn't clear how much it would all impact me.
