No, really it's not. If anything the fact that he chose to associate himself with a group that expressly forbids any kind of embracing of Nazi ideals is more telling than the unit the group bases their reenactments upon.
Seriously, stop trying to paint it as something it's not. So he does historical reenactment. Big whoop. So the unit in question was responsible for some pretty horrendous atrocities. So what? It's not like he's supporting what they did by reenacting it. In fact the argument could EASILY be made that groups like this reenact the worst things they can find so that we can never forget (that may or may not be the case...I only know what's in the article about them). My point is that trying to portray him as a Nazi sympathizer because of his historical reenactment hobby, regardless of the unit he's reenacting, is dishonest. You want to paint him as a Nazi? Fine. Show us one single thing he's done in support of Nazi ideals. Historical reenactments are NOT support of ideals.
