I've never seen any investigation conclude that banks and mortgage companies were forced to give mortgages to people that could not afford them.
I have seen investigations, and employees say that they knowingly gave mortgages and loans to persons that they knew could not afford it in order to secure their own bonuses at the end of the month. I have seen investigations which conclude that the packaging of these toxic assets was wilful and with the full knowledge of these financial institutions. Where are you getting your information that these corporations were 'Forced' into creating this financial crisis?
