The law is also pretty bad for someone like me, a foreign national who is legally resident in the US. Before this law we had about the same rights as citizen, with certain exceptions. Now from what I understand there is a far greater risk of arbitrary arrest or searches than before. To a great extent I'm much more vulnerable now to being jailed without any due process.
