Howie, I needn't be told all that or reminded. If affected me very much. This thing just seemed a bit over the top. Did you read the whole bill? (I didn't, not all of it, couldn't get through it all.) It scared my client who is in the science field and travels around to other countries, where she has friends now that think twice about traveling to the States for big science conventions. Not that they won't come, she hopes, but like Jochem said, it seems as if "...this legislation introduces a great risk of unfair prosecution and detainment without Process." That was all. Please, I am a US citizen first and foremost, and I lived a half an hour away, and I smelled first hand what it was like to have the Twin Towers attacked....I was just questioning the rigidity of this legislation I hadn't heard of. Maybe my head is in the sand too much. ... And I wasn't saying that America couldn't defend herself ... It just appears as if it takes quite a lot of rights away from people who haven't quite obtained their citizenship in the US yet. It's such a fine line anyway, as with every other friggin thing on this earth. Your next door neighbor which you've known for years, could be the next serial killer. Who knows. I don't know. I don't anything. I'm going back to work now. I know ColdFusion.
